The Sentinels have performed with classic oldies groups such as the Beach Boys, Temptations, Jive Five, Platters, Coasters, Capris, Earls, Five Discs, Five Satins, Del Vikings, Dimensions, Dubs, Chantels, Emotions, Solitaires, Channels, Randy & the Rainbows, Willie Winfleld & the Harptones, Sha Na Na, Duprees, Continentals, Mystics, and Johnny Maestro & the Brooklyn Bridge.
The Sentinels strive to duplicate the sounds of the well known and not so well known groups of the 1950’s and 1960’s. They try to keep every element of the songs they perform in their original context. It’s their era and they take the sounds seriously.
Many of the songs the group performs are immediately recognizable and mood setting “hits,” while others are more obscure and less known. Either way, The Sentinels always deliver rich, robust vocal harmonies in an eclectic and diverse fashion.
The Sentinels band musicians have more than 120 years of combined experience. They have played with major recording artists such as the Drifters, Coasters, and many others. The band includes drums, sax, bass, guitar, and keyboard.
